Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal of the granola bars.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the nuts, dried coconut, dried cranberries, pepitas, chia seeds, and sea salt. Gently mix these ingredients.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and vanilla extract until well combined.
  • Pour the maple syrup mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir well using a spoon or spatula.
  • Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and press it down firmly.

Baking

  • Bake the mixture in your preheated oven for 20–25 minutes or until the edges start to turn golden brown.
  • Remove the granola from the oven and set it aside to cool in the pan.
  • Once completely cold, lift the parchment paper out of the pan and place it on a cutting board. Use a sharp knife to slice the cooled granola into bars.

Storage

  • Store the sliced bars in an airtight container.

Notes

These bars are perfect for breakfast or as snacks, and can be customized with different nuts and dried fruits. Make sure to press the mixture firmly to help them hold their shape.
