  • Mix in the rolled oats, stirring well until they are evenly coated with the sourdough discard.
  • Incorporate the mini chocolate chips into the oat mixture and ensure they are thoroughly distributed.
  • Add honey or maple syrup as a binding agent, folding it in with a spatula until the mixture looks cohesive.
  • Introduce the nut butter and mix well to enhance flavor and creaminess.
  • Pour in the vanilla extract and salt, folding until just combined.
  • Prepare your baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it. Spread the granola mixture evenly and press down firmly.
  • Preheat your oven and bake until the edges are golden and the mixture is slightly firm to the touch.
