Base Ingredients

  • ¾ cup creamy peanut butter provides moisture and creaminess
  • ½ cup honey adds sweetness and binds ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla enhances overall flavor

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups quick oats gives structure and chewiness
  • 1 cup Rice Krispie cereal adds a light, crispy texture
  • 1 cup M&M's offers sweetness and color
  • ½ cup peanut butter chips provides additional peanut flavor

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, honey, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  • Add the quick oats to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until the oats are completely coated.
  • Incorporate the Rice Krispie cereal until evenly distributed.
  • Gently mix in the M&M's and peanut butter chips without crushing them.
  • Line a 9x9-inch baking dish with parchment paper and transfer the mixture into it, pressing down firmly.
  • Refrigerate for at least 1 to 2 hours to let the bars set.
  • Once set, cut into squares or rectangles and store in an airtight container.

Ensure peanut butter is well stirred for easier mixing and allow the bars to set in the refrigerator thoroughly for best texture. Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
