Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond butter (or peanut butter, sun butter, etc; adds moisture and richness)
  • 1 cup honey (provides sweetness and binds ingredients together)

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup sunflower seeds (adds crunch and nutrition)
  • 1 cup dried cranberries (or other dried fruit; contributes natural sweetness and chewiness)
  • 1 cup coconut (adds texture and a subtle tropical flavor)
  • 1 cup almonds (or other nuts, cashews, etc; offers crunch and healthy fats)
  • 1/2 – 1 cup cacao chips (provides sweetness and a chocolatey flavor)

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all your ingredients in a mixing bowl.
  • Combine the almond butter and honey in the mixing bowl and stir until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in the sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, coconut, and almonds until evenly coated.
  • If using cacao chips, gently fold them into the mixture.
  • Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and pour the granola mixture into the pan, spreading it out evenly.
  • Press down firmly but gently to ensure it holds together once set.
  • Allow the granola bars to cool at room temperature before cutting them into your preferred size.

Notes

Store granola bars in an airtight container at room temperature for several days or refrigerate for longer freshness. They can also be frozen for up to three months.
