  • 1 cup all-purpose flour gives structure
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder provides a rich chocolate flavor
  • 7 oz large semi-sweet chocolate chips or roughly chopped chocolate adds pockets of chocolate

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Combine the melted butter with the vegetable oil in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the white sugar and light brown sugar to the bowl and stir until smooth.
  • Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition.
  • Pour in the vanilla extract and mix it into the batter.
  • Sprinkle the salt into the mixture and stir well.
  • Gradually add in the all-purpose flour and cocoa powder, folding them into the wet mixture.
  • Gently stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Grease a baking pan and pour the brownie batter into it, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  • Check if the brownies are done by ensuring the edges pull away from the pan and a crust forms on top.

Notes

Store leftover brownies in an airtight container to keep them moist.
