Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Melt the unsalted butter in a mixing bowl until smooth and set aside to cool slightly.
  • Whisk in the granulated sugar until well combined and glossy.
  • Add the cocoa powder and mix well to incorporate.
  • Crack in the eggs, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in the vanilla extract and salt until evenly combined.
  • Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined.
  • Mix in the semisweet chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan and smooth the top.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick; it should come out with a few moist crumbs.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and do not overmix the batter. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting for cleaner slices.
