Preparation

  • Cream the softened unsalted butter in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
  • Gradually add the packed brown sugar and granulated sugar to the butter, mixing until smooth.
  • Crack the two large eggs into the bowl, adding them one at a time while mixing.
  • Add the vanilla extract to the mixture and beat until evenly distributed.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  • Slowly incorporate the dry mixture into the wet ingredients, mixing until the flour is no longer visible.
  • Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven according to baking instructions and prepare your muffin tin.
  • Scoop the cookie dough into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about two-thirds full.
