Preparation
- Preheat your oven to the recommended temperature.

- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the bowl, mixing until fully blended.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and optional espresso powder.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined but not overmixed.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, nuts, and cacao nibs if using.
- Scoop the dough onto a prepared baking sheet, spacing the cookies about two inches apart.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake until golden at the edges.
- Allow cookies to cool slightly on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
