  • Mix in 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
  • Gradually add 3-4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour and 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder. Stir until the mixture thickens into a batter.
  • Fold in 2 tablespoons of semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  • Microwave on high for 40 to 60 seconds until the batter rises and sets, but may still be slightly soft in the center.
  • Allow to cool briefly before enjoying.

Notes

For best results, ensure butter is fully melted, watch cook time to avoid overcooking, and use a large enough mug to prevent overflow.
